Weight Loss Hypnotherapy
The weight loss hypnotherapy programme consists of 4 individual sessions on a weekly basis, a short weekly phone call for extra support and a hypnotherapy CD for personal use between sessions.
Weight loss hypnotherapy is not really a diet, it combines counselling, coaching and hypnotherapy to increase your motivation towards achieving and maintaining steady and more permanent weight management.
In the sessions, you will examine and begin to understand your own attitudes towards food and weight loss, including any underlying emotional issues, personal and popular beliefs, negative-thinking and self-worth issues. All of these can be re-framed.
You will be encouraged to set manageable and achievable targets, to learn techniques to help control cravings. You will learn to eat consciously and as a result increase your awareness about the amount and types of food you actually need to eat to experience weight loss gradually and maintain the weight loss. You will be guided towards achieving a more positive self image and an increase in your self-confidence.
Please Note
There are certain conditions where hypnotherapy is not a suitable treatment for weight loss. A clinical hypnotherapist does not work with clients suffering from: severe depressive illness, epilepsy, psychosis (e.g. schizophrenia), some breathing problems.
The weight loss programme is not suitable for anyone who has been diagnosed with anorexia or bulimia.

An individually tailored weight loss hypnotherapy session in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales is £70.
